As the Systems Administrator, maintains integrity of the operating system environment. Performs system software upgrades including planning/scheduling, testing and coordination. Performs server administration and setup. Coordinates disk space planning and management. Develops, documents, and implements enhancements to systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with colleagues and end-users to ensure the solution meets business requirements and is delivered in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot issues and requests to translate ideas into end user proposals or solutions.
Work with vendors and business groups to troubleshoot and provide solutions to software and hardware faults.
Perform systems, network, and application administration as well as support functions.
Provide tier II/III technical support and serve as top escalation point for critical and/or challenging systems issues.
Triage and assign advanced problems or requests to the proper channels.
Assist staff with the assessment and delivery of functional requirements, and perform post-solution follow up to ensure end user satisfaction.
Write knowledge-base articles to document new solutions and workflows.
Support the Group IT team on other projects as needed.
Be able to work well as part of a team but also unsupervised.
Demonstrate project management abilities and aptitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years’ experience (preferred)
3+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
At least 3+ years of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server administration experience.
At least 3+ years of Windows Security Policy and Group Policy experience.
At least 3+ years of Microsoft Office 365 administration experience.
3+ years of network administration and/or support experience.
3+ years of VMware administration experience.
Ability to convey risks and propose mitigation strategies to technical and business audiences.
Ability to understand sales, service desk, project and operations requirements, and optimize performance to support organizational strategies and security.
Ability to translate between technical and operational environments to propose effective systems processes to support business outcomes.
Exhibits a flexible, objective and open communication style; able to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
Reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration.
